8/10/2020 0 Comments Hudson Valley Headshot SessionAs photographers we need to work in all sorts of environments or types of weather, and sometimes duty calls on a sweltering summer day. This day at the park with Caterina was one of those days, but we were able to have a quick and productive headshot photoshoot with great results. Caterina is a Hudson Valley real estate agent and she needed to look professional and comfortable for these, so first we sat down in the shade and just talked for a minute to keep energy low and relaxed. When we were ready to shoot I made sure to place her in shaded areas to keep her cool and comfortable, but also to avoid weird shadows or sun spots on her face. Tip: to distract from the heat, try and keep conversation going in between shots. I kept conversation going by asking her about her kids and we got this great headshot that she can use for any professional profile like LinkedIn or her social media. Next we went over to the pavilion for a more casual look. Tip: to stay cool(er) during a shoot, try to walk between areas at a moseying pace. Getting antsy and rushing will just make you hotter! The pavilion was a great spot because it acted as a frame around her and it had some beautiful greenery all around it that I was able to bring into the foreground. Caterina was a total champ for insisting on keeping her jacket on to stay looking professional and classy, and she killed it! She was also an absolute pleasure to work with. Check out a few more shots from our quick and productive headshot session!
