A common question photographers get asked is, "When will I get my photos back?"
The answer is going to be different from every photographer, because it all depends on our processes. These processes are also dependent on things like lighting, skin texture, whether it's a close-up headshot or a full-body shot, the purpose of the image, and more.
Born and raised around here, and doing photoshoots for the last few years, I've been to a place or two. Listed below are some of what I think are the BEST locations for engagement photos in the Hudson Valley.
At the end of October I had the pleasure of being a part of a Pakistani wedding, something that was very new to me and very different from a traditional American wedding.

Have you ever read a photographer's contract and seen, "Printing rights are granted," and ignored it because you didn't plan on getting wall prints?
Well, there are a lot of other things you can do besides wall decor with printing rights.
Let's start with talking about what they are.
October 7th, 2020 - the day Cody & Erica got engaged!
A few months ago I did a Facebook giveaway for a couples shoot, and it ended up being one of my favorite couples shoots ever!
Stephanie and Kyle recently got engaged this summer and as soon as I met them I could tell they were so in love, and that it was going to be a great session. I had them meet me at my new favorite location because I had only done one shoot there and I really wanted to get accustomed to a location I know I will use often. We started out with some movement and candid style photos to get them used to being in front of the camera while still being themselves.
Alright, so I'm gonna start this off by saying there are so many great pizza shops around my town and in the Hudson Valley. I wanted to keep this at 10 because even 10 is kind of long, and there were places outside of the Hudson Valley that I just had to add so there are some excellent shops that just didn't make the cut for this list. But, I love pizza more than anybody you know (if they don't have a pizza tattoo, they don't love it as much as me) and I HAD to make a pizza blog post at some point, so here it is.
Something I love about being a photographer is having returning clients who want me to document big changes in their life. Last year I photographed a beautiful family expecting another member quite soon at one of my favorite spots in New Paltz, NY.
I forgot how fun making GIFs in Photoshop can be, and after I got home from a shoot last week I realized I had perfect little sequence for a GIF.
